Aiumi: translation in Japanese: Aiumi means “Love” and “Sea” — two elements that capture the spirit of what we create: resort wear and womenswear detailed pieces that feel romantic, free, and true.

Japan is also a special place that shaped our founder’s personal style and tribute to her name her family calls her in Thai, which means Japan. A country where tradition meets innovation and has shaped her through her travels exploring across Japan - the fascination on traditions, fashion, quality of life, craftsmanship to detail and its calming nature.

Founder, Nutrada Sottivoranan, was born in Thailand and her love for clothing convinced her to study at University of Arts London, LCF for her undergraduate degree in London. Shortly after her return to Bangkok she gained experienced in the industry at a media and clothing company before officially launching Aiumi in 2023.

Aiumi strives for female empowerment and values detailed pieces channeling the values of a traditional Japanese aesthetic and craftsmanships. Our founder's mission is to create clothing that remains timeless to wear and adore and to build a community of like-minded women who share our passion for authenticity, creativity, and connection.
